Certifications & Compliance

JOY’s experience with textile certification dates back to its early development in protective fabrics. In 2005, the company entered the high-visibility fabric sector and obtained its first EN 471 product certification through TÜV. This was followed by its first OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification in 2007.

Since then, JOY has continued to maintain and renew relevant certifications while participating in industry initiatives and compliance programs. These ongoing commitments support fabric evaluation, product qualification and the sourcing requirements of international customers.

International Experience

JOY has developed long-standing experience serving international functional textile markets, particularly Europe, alongside customers in North America and Australia. Our work with garment manufacturers, apparel brands, importers and distributors has given us practical insight into the requirements of professional protective clothing and workwear markets.

Understanding Technical Requirements

International customers often work with detailed fabric specifications and performance requirements. JOY’s experience spans high-visibility fabrics and more complex protective textile applications, where multiple performance standards may need to be considered together.

Supporting Product Qualification

For professional protective clothing, fabric selection is closely connected to testing, certification and garment development. JOY understands that evaluating a new fabric or changing an established material can involve extensive technical assessment and longer qualification cycles.

Building Long-Term Customer Relationships

JOY values direct technical communication with purchasing, product development and technical teams. By understanding customer requirements and providing relevant fabric information and recommendations, we work to support informed sourcing decisions and lasting business relationships.
